Pyrosutra has fostered many great relationships within the fire community, we've met and worked with many fantastically talented people, and occasionally build extra special friendships through the work we do together. Because most of these folks live outside of our home base in Seattle, we cherish every opportunity we have to work and play togther. Our Pyrofamilia are the people we keep close to our hearts, work with regularly and generally pick on whenever we can.

Atacan Conduroglu began performing on stage during college in his native country of Turkey. After graduation in 2001, Microsoft hired him as a Software Engineer and he relocated to Seattle. Here, his interest in performance turned towards fire arts. Atacan's notoriety for technique and skill has earned him the privilege of performing with several fire troupes in Seattle. His tool set consists of: poi, fire eating torches, hoop, and rope dart. He is in constant search for opportunities to grow in skillful toy operation with motion and he can be reached at: atacanc@gmail.com.

Fire Dancer with Fire-Hoop Brent loves to entertain and entrance and audience. One of the aspects he enjoys most about performing with fire is the fascination on the faces of those experiencing their first fire performance. Brent is a recent graduate of the University of Washington with degrees in business administration and molecular biology. Brent was first introduced to fire performance with his girlfriend Ember in 1999 and began working with it after her in 2000. He enjoys merging performance with other artists including musicians video graphics, costumers and mask makers.

"When spinning fire, it is like achieving a Zen state. The world's worries fall away and then there is just the flow of movement... the rise and fall of torches as you guide and follow them through the dance of fire." - Brent

Wendy Rogers (aka WenZilla) is our friendly fire monster from Portland, OR. We first met WenZilla in 1999, the same year she started doing fire. She finds the thrill of fire dancing in the eyes and excitement of those she mesmerizes. WenZilla enjoys taking the element of fire and culminating it with her many years of gymnastics experience. Growing up in Austin, TX, WenZilla has no fear of the heat and it shows when she lights up. We have had many collaborative shows with WenZilla including many days of play on the playa. She is currently studying Speech and Hearing Sciences at Portland State University. Besides fire, WenZilla loves fine vegetarian cuisine, swimming, mountain biking and skydiving. Oh and let's not forget, she LOVES Tequila. wenzilla13@hotmail.com
